Perth 2 - Perth Zoo

From Barrack Square Jetty, we took a ferry to Perth Zoo.Their admission fee is kinda pricey which had cost us $21 per person. and it was a waste of money, as it started to rain halfway. We did not manage to see the whole zoo. The rain seemed to be non stoppable and strong wind blew. Can you imagine how cold is a rainy day during the end of Autumn? The worst thing is that none of us brought an umbrella that day. We ran in the rain back to the entrance and got ourselves a raincoat from the souvenir shop.

in the ferry :)

if you bought a DayRider(Weekdays) / FamilyRider(Weekends) ticket at $9, it is usable for buses, trains and ferries in the city within a day. DayRider is applicable for a person while FamilyRider is available for two adults n two children (if I'm not mistaken). Else you will need to buy a separate ticket for each public transport you took. Calculate wisely to get the worthiest transportation costs for your travel.

The view of Perth City from the opposite of the river.

We were on our way to the zoo. The fallen autumn leaves were everywhere on the street.

We had our simple lunch on a picnic table in the zoo.

Some random plants and flowers in the zoo.

Lavender tends to attract a lot of bees.

Hot chocolate with marshmallow. It kept our stomachs warm but was too sweet for my liking.

execute me ~

Can you see the footprints of the kangaroo? Perth Zoo does not have as many kangaroos as the wildlife park. But this is where I first met a real kangaroo in my life. :)

Pelicans
Lion Lion~ i feel like hugging you~

and soon after we met the lion kings n queen, the rain fell.

nah ! this is it ! our souvenirs from Perth Zoo ! the raincoats ~ =3=''

The rainy Perth. We were waiting for the ferry.

good night Perth.

I personally think that zoo is where you can see (from far away) a lot of animals without a chance to contact with them. koala exhibits is not available during our visit. and I didn't see any Tasmanian devil and sun bear.. wuwu.. So, we went to Caversham Wildlife Park to see koalas ~~ okie, that's all, see ya~
